Normalize to one basis
Each quote is broken into rack or index price, supplier margin, freight, and applicable taxes and fees, converted to price per gallon.
Apply delivery terms
Freight, minimum-drop and location-specific charges are added so each quote reflects what actually lands in your tank.
Compare delivered cost
Quotes are ranked on delivered cost per gallon for the same product, volume and location — like-for-like, not headline price.
